So this is a Norwegian commercial. Pretty good, huh? Unless you didn’t get the punchline of course which is; ‘Some people are just lucky. For the rest of us it can be smart to save.’ So obviously it’s a commercial for a bank and a saving program. George Clooney thought the idea for this commercial was so good that he actually finished his vacation early to go film it. My friend, Ida was listening to the radio the other and there was an interview with the people behind the commercial. Mostly they just talked about how impossible it was to get a hold of Clooney. If Clooney hadn’t personally loved the idea so much the commercial would never have happened. ‘DnB NOR’ – which stands for the Norwegian Bank, has several funny commercials, like this one about pension.

So, I’m cleaning my room and packing. God, I really hate packing, like a really intense hate. Anyway, I have found some weird, funny and memorable stuff while I have been cleaning.
Like these presents for my (I assume) teddy bear “Brumle”. Which basically is just my toys that I wrapped for him when I was probably about five years old. I found them in the back of my closet, still wrapped.
And of course loads of Rolling Stones stuff.
It always takes me so long to clean because you find all your old stuff and you end up looking though everything, and forget to actually clean. One day left in Bergen and it will be spent at a restaurant with close friends.
I came home tonight tired after a busy day, having lunch with my uncle in Bergen and then training at Step In dance studio. I heated up some pasta and turned on the TV to pass the time while eating. As I was switching from one ridiculous show to another I came over a documentary about Dr. Nakamats from Japan. An inventor and a very strange character. I just sat there watching the entire documentary thinking ‘are these the kind of people who invent super genius stuff?’, ‘is it true that all geniuses are crazy and extremely strange?’. I mean, he smelled cameras to see if they were good cameras. He believes that he will become the oldest person in Japan at the age of 144. To achieve this he only has one meal a day and sleeps maximum four hours. I’m not even gonna say what I really think about this cause then he’ll probably end up celebrating his 144 birthday and I’ll be the stupid one. He seems extremely clever though holding the world records of patents – 3300 and counting. I found a trailer clip on youtube, but you really should watch the entire documentary.
Here’s a video of Kings of Convenience’s song “Me in You”. It’s filmed at the rooftop of Eirik’s house in Bergen. It shows some of Bergen. Notice how all the houses are brick houses and light colors, blue, yellow, white, pink and they all look like model houses. Everyone should go to Bergen, its beautiful.
I bought the most intense pair of red pants yesterday, and I can’t wait to wear them with my new black short boots.
Red pants are everyday pants for every occasion. RED, RED, RED. (And not red as in retired but extremely dangerous).
The Rolling Stone just released the world premiere of Sondre Lerche’s new music video for his song “Go Right Ahead”.
Just a reminder that he’s playing in London, October 6th at Square Bar & Kitchen 8 PM with Young Dreams.
